Photo of Me in Studio
with Colin the Scotty dog
I began rug hooking in 1991 after having seen a person's collection of her own rug art.
Being involved in art, particularly fiber art for many years, I was just "taken" by the rugs.
I quickly began designing my own rugs and was then asked to sell my patterns to friends.
I have a comfortable rug hooking studio where I daily dye wools, create patterns and hook with friends.
Anyone can visit my studio in beautiful Middlebury, Vermont but you need to call ahead for many weeks
as you can see by my schedule I am often teaching around the country.
The joy of hooking and watching the colors come together for myself and other rug artists is fun.
The collection of designs quickly grew to over 200 designs.
Life is always inspirational!
